My best bite in PDX this year! Still drooling over this DELICIOUS meal from Eem! Every dish was so flavorful on its own but everything came together beautifully. We started off with some tropical cocktails which really set the mood. They have a large nonalcoholic menu which I thought was really cool. We decided to eat family style so that we could try out as many dishes as possible. Portions were gracious so all of left full. Highly recommend ordering like this for groups. We shared the Thai ceviche, cauliflower, BBQ fried rice, smoked pork belly, and white curry with brisket among four friends. The pork belly and brisket curry were INSANE. The pork just melted away with so much flavor and the white curry was comforting and smooth. The cauliflower was also a big hit, not mushy and tossed in a flavorful sauce. Who would have thought that Texas BBQ and Thai food needed to have a love affair?! For a boisterous group we were silenced by the flavors of every bite. Clearly a good sign for our table lapping up every sauce and picking up even the tiniest grain of rice to savory it all. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We sat inside, but I loved that they had large windows opened to let in the sunny day. When I say I will be thinking about this meal for a while, I’m not lying. Sad to be heading home but looking forward to coming back to PDX to dine at Eem again!

When the sensual manifests itself in the form of food. This place is stunning. Easily one of the best restaurants in Portland. The staff dress uniquely and pleasantly, they are kind. The food, erotic explosions of flavors and tastes that are beyond description. (Not pictured) The cauliflower is an absolute must; the boneless wings are delicious. My mouth is watering like Pavlov’s dog as I’m writing this, with the simple memory. The way the brisket pairs with the curry — ephemeral. Wow, truly spectacular experience. Had to go again the following week. Highly recommend

Hands down this is one of the best Thai food I have had in Portland recently! We got the yuzu bliss and life of luxury. Both the drinks were amazing. The sweet and shout fried chicken were very crispy and tasty. The MUSHROOM FRIED RICE is a must try! The fried onion and the flavours are very good! The massaman curry with lamb shoulder was mind blowing! Amazing restaurant with great options There is a wait for almost 1 - 1.5 hours.

BEWARE: A busy little corner with delicious food inside. The perfect spot to get dressed up and treat yo self. A cozy little spot and everyone we interacted with were friendly a perfect date night. The salad was so fresh with a splash of sweetness. The cauliflower was in a lovely sauce with a good kick of heat. The drinks were delicious, sorry forgot their names >.< Drum roll please! My FAVS. Honestly, I get them every time. First the BBQ friend rice is so delicious, the spices, meat, rice, peppers are 10/10 will make you return again. The second dish that you have to try if you like curry is the white curry with burnt ends. Perfection. It's rich, hearty, decadent and all that is good with the world. Thank you for what you do Eem. An amazing fusion restaurant that knows how to highlight both cuisines. Till next time,

Super duper cute place, I can definitely see why it’s popular. The papaya salad is fire, very very spicy. We love spicy food and it was nice to have it actually be spicy when they warn. The white curry was tasty but lacked acidity, even just a bit of a lime squeeze would do. The red vegetable curry had these amazingly prepared cremini mushrooms, but the overall flavor was a bit lacking, as if they hadn’t used quite enough curry paste. Overall a good experience tho, good music played in there and great vibes. To be fair we are use to very traditional Thai and that isn’t what EEM claims to be!

Let’s talk about Eem. I tried it for the first time on my trip to Portland and went back because it was so good. The atmosphere is great with open windows with a nice decor. The cocktails are unique cups that you would find at a tiki bar. The food is incredible. I got the Massaman curry w/ smoked lamb shoulder and was insane. I also got the brisket fried rice which tasted burnt and not as flavorful compared to the curry. A ton of people around me loved the white curry and seemed to be a popular item. With a shellfish and peanut allergy, my menu selections were limited, but still ate a good meal. It was very busy on both random days I went, so I would recommend making a reservation if you have a larger party or expect a wait.

The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth perfect—crispy edges, rich flavor, absolutely unforgettable. What really surprised me, though, was the white curry. The use of coconut was so subtle and delicate—it added depth without overpowering, a perfect balance. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Portland.

5 stars across the board! Family-style plates and creative cocktails laid the foundation for such an incredible meal. We went with the beat salad to start, then bbq fried rice, green curry, and lamb curry. Everything we ordered was fantastic! Loved the smoky meat/thai food combo. Our waitress was so so knowledgeable and great with my food allergies (dairy and gluten).
